Adorable Funky Inn!! Love!

by C8304CGcelias

I have no idea why there are any negative reviews here. My husband and I are staying at the Inn now and it’s soooo adorable! Close to everything—10 min walk to downtown and coolest little bar inside. I just love every little detail about this place. Small, intimate, young, hippieish. A lil pricey but very glad we stayed here. I would definitely return.

Comfortable, relaxed vibe, great pool area

by Robin P

This hotel is quiet, charming and comfortable, although you can't be too picky about details. It is an old-style motor inn and the rooms show wear. Our kitchenette was stocked with an assortment of mismatched, oddly-proportioned dishes and lacked some basics, such as napkins/paper towels, dishtowels or drying rack. The best thing about this hotel is the pool area. It has a hipster vibe, as others have described also, that includes an adjacent bar that is popular with locals. The pool area includes a grassy space, large shady trees, fire pit and games such as corn hole. Floaties in the water. Twinkly lights at night. Calming music. It is more suited to adults than kids, especialy after 4pm when the bar opens. The website doesn't do this place justice, so I attached a picture of the pool area. It is a good option for anyone in Ojai. Food services are limited but the Westridge Market is less than a mile away and has a hot breakfast bar. One word of caution is that some of the rooms are very close to the main highway going into town. The way to avoid getting the worst room is to book a kitchenette or spa-tub room as opposed to a standard room. Finally, besides the tiny porches in front of each room, most of the space on the property is open-air so if rainy weather is expected, consider booking elsewhere.
