If you prefer to stay in the Old Town district and want to take the Town Lift to the slopes, grab a room at the Old Town Guesthouse. Book the McKonkey’s Suite, ideal for a family of four. The owner is a serious skier and biker who will steer you in the right direction. She’ll also get the family energized with a large breakfast each morning.

We made a reservation through hotels.com. We cancelled the reservation on 1/11/17 (the guest house charged our card on 1/1/17 even though that was not the terms of the reservation.) The hotels.com cancellation confirmation clearly states: free cancellation until 2/11/17 (this is in writing, confirmed in the cancellation email). When I contacted the manager to try to amenable fix the situation and to refund our almost $800, I was treated very rudely. She refused to fix the situation. Hotels.com is going to take care of the situation but I had to spend the time to talk with them extensively on the phone and to scan and send them the paperwork . I will also be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Beware, they might try to keep your money. And, the manager said she hated hotels.com and wished she didn't have to deal with them. When hotels.com called the manager, there was no answer and she did not call them back. I would caution everyone not to trust them.
Old Town Guest House is SO GREAT!!!!! The home is in the perfect location and is absolutely adorable. Rooms have everything you need and are so comfortable...and the breakfast every morning is AMAZING. Very centrally located---super easy to walk to town and Park City base. Boot dryers were an awesome perk too!!! Will 100% be staying here again.
