IMPRESSIVE

Very different look to the common hotel/suite theme. Split level loft, bedroom, bathroom upstairs. Balcony downstairs. Kitchen, 2 burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, flatware, silverware and unfortunately aluminum cookware (LOL...I ONLY USE CAST IRON????). Be mindful rooms have stairs about 14 but there is a sleep sofa downstairs. Pool was nice, 4 feet only about 24 feet long, decent size, we got in water was warm. Good location our attractions were within 5 miles.

Beautiful hotel!

We went to Hilton Head for a timeshare presentation, and were set up in this hotel for our lodging. So I'm not too sure of the actual price of the rooms.

-The hotel is beautiful. We were struck by the grand plantation-style buildings and beautiful landscaping.

-The outdoor pool is on the smaller side, but very clean. The pool area itself is very spacious, with tables and chairs, lounge chairs, a cabana with furniture, and tons of palm trees.

-Our room was also very beautifully decorated. I enjoyed having ceramic tile floors throughout our room. Not only were they pretty, but they were easy to clean.

-The small kitchen was nice to have. It has a cook-top, sink, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator. It also came equipped with cookware, dinnerware, and silverware.

-The breakfast was great for a hotel breakfast, there was a pretty large variety of foods and it all tasted great. The staff was all friendly.

-It was in a good central location on the Island...pretty close to everything, yet still quiet and secluded.

The things we didn't like:

-Most of the room was super clean, except for the bathroom. There was a lot of dirt around the shower enclosure.

-The bathroom only had a shower, no tub! It seems to be the norm for hotels to only have showers...most we have been to only have showers. But when you are travelling with children, especially small children, a bath tub is nice to have. Luckily, my son is small enough that he fit in the huge kitchen sink...so he got all of his baths in the sink!

-The website said that each room comes equipped with a DVD player. So I brought DVDs for my son to watch at night when it was time to wind down. I couldn't find a DVD player in the room. I called the front desk and they said that when the hotel was remodeled, they removed all of the DVD players.

-The TV was at a weird angle on the wall. The remote would only work from 1 of the beds.

I had to be really nitpicky to find things we didn't like. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! If we come back to Hilton Head, we will definitely considered staying here again.
