Came to Pensacola Grand for a local wedding. From making our reservation 6 weeks earlier to entering the hotel the staff was soooooo friendly - Amazing to be welcomed so nicely. Our room was very nice, super clean and good AC! The room was also very quiet. Our daughter & fiance had the Presidential suite on the 14th floor and that was very nicely decorated and comfortable for the newlyweds. The front of hotel was an old train station (Louisville & Nashville "L&N"). Many elements of the station were kept when it was transformed into a hotel. I spent time just strolling and learning about the station's history. The Cavu Bar was great! Very cool military memorabilia but the real stand out again was the staff: Kelly, Marie & Chris were very accommodating and very down to earth friendly! The bar has a great food menu including appetizers, salads, pastas, & full entrees. The food comes from The 1912 restaurant.
This beautifully restored train stain was a charming choice during our 2 week road trip. Though the rooms were in a high rise behind the station and didn’t have the historical feel, the lobby, restaurant and entrance were beautiful. The restaurants and shopping were a little further than the walking distance that was advertised, but would definitely stay here again.
