Reviews

Not maintained & Dirty

by justpumpitlouder

Let me start my review by saying, if something is too good to be true— it probably is. That’s how I felt when my friends booked this place. It looked too nice for how cheap it was, but I figured, hey— it’s Bali, right? Well I was in for a surprise.

Pros:

Staff was mostly friendly.
On site laundry service was convenient.
Location was convenient and walkable.
Pool (aside from the decaying wooden planks around parts of it) was pretty nice.
Room was quiet on top floor

Cons:
WiFi did not work at all in my room on the top floor.

The walls and bathroom were filthy. FILTHY. Towels were stained. Bed linens were stained in all of our rooms. They desperately need to buy new sheets, blankets, and towels. It was disgusting and made me feel so gross. My best friend in her room ordered new blankets only for them to flip the existing one. Don’t even get me started on the toilet. It was disgusting and in desperate need of either bleach or replacement. Stained couches. Filthy walls. My feet were dirty from walking on the floor inside my room. It was unreal.

Bugs. There were no bugs in my room, but both of my friends in two other rooms woke up each day with bites. We still have no clue what was biting them.

My bathroom had no shower curtain and flooded every time I took a shower. I asked for one but never got one.

The shower in my room only put out scolding hot water. I complained but nobody could fix it. Had to shower in one of my friends equally dirty bathroom.

The food at the breakfast was nasty. I am all for trying new things but wow! But I’ll let that slide because maybe it’s a cultural difference.

The AC was so hit or miss. My room struggled to keep cool. One of my friend’s room never cooled down. My other friend’s room was freezing, and they couldn’t get it to turn off. And then on the last day before we left, it leaked a bunch of water and drenched her bag.

This place has so much potential to be nice, and I’m sure it was gorgeous 5-15 years ago, but right here in 2019, it’s unmaintained and dirty. It looks nice from afar, but when you start noticing dirty towels and stained walls, you realize you made a mistake staying here.

Tired run down hotel

by Jakviti

Arranged airport pickup didn't happen.(still charged)
First room they put me in had a useless air-conditioner
After waiting at reception finally moved to another room.
Linen stank of bleach and the bathmat was literally a rag with holes in it.
Deck around the pool was rotten wood with rusty nails sticking up.
On checkout told I could only pay for the minibar in cash(had to rush to money changer at 8:30pm).
