The Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay in Monterey, California, offers families 379 guestrooms with king and queen beds, refrigerators, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, in-room movies, free Wi-Fi and cribs upon request. Connecting rooms and rollaway beds (fee) are also available upon request. Rooms are pet-friendly, as well, and pet amenities are offered. Your pets will enjoy dog beds, dog bowls and dog bones during your stay. A total of four people can stay in one guestroom.
Kids staying with their parents at the Portola will enjoy the Pirate Program, where children ages 3 to 12 will receive coloring books and crayons, souvenirs, self-guided scavenger hunt maps, free root beer floats, and more. Children receive more amenities through the program with each stay that their family has at the Portola.
Offsite attractions near the Portola include Pebble Beach Golf Course and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Onsite dining is available at Jack’s Restaurant & Lounge and Peter B’s Brewpub. Both offer relaxed American fare. Jack’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Peter B’s serves dinner. Children’s menus are available at both and include pasta, hotdogs, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, pizza and burgers. All kids’ meals come with a drink and dessert.

Excellent hotel experience, while attending WS-AUA conference in the adjacent Monterey Conference Center. Have attended in past years, and look forward to another similar event. Thanks for hour support and help.
Excellent in all aspects. Loved Monterey. The hotel is centrally located and staff gave excellent directions to points of interest. Meeting rooms were well maintained. My only suggestion is to not limit this question to 200 words minimum. I am a believer of being succinct
