Recommend highly

As we’ve lived down the street from the Priory for the past 20 years, we often recommend the hotel for visiting friends and family. I can 100% trust their fine service, customer attention, detail, and congenial helpfulness. We recommend the Priory without hesitation!

Lovely historic hotel - a little noisy

by FLBeachWanderer

We had a wonderful stay at the Priory and definitely enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. Our room was clean and well-appointed with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed the delicious fresh fruit, homemade breads, coffee, juice, etc. The free parking was a nice bonus, and we loved the free shuttle ride to and from dinner and the theater! How nice to park the car at the hotel and still be able to enjoy an evening out without having to drive ourselves! The shuttle driver was personable and friendly, and we enjoyed talking with him.

The only issue that we had was the noise in our room. We were in room 104, which is right across from the front door and the reception area and next to the outdoor patio. Unfortunately, we could hear everyone having drinks on the patio and still more people returning to the hotel until the wee hours of the morning. There was also a wedding at the hotel while we were there, and we had to ask people waiting for a their cocktail hour/reception on the patio to move away from our door so that we could get in and out of our room. I'm not sure how this situation can be remedied, but I would definitely advise hotel guests to avoid room 104.
