Don't set high expectations otherwise you will be disappointed

This hotel has a major upside being the location, very close to Waterfront and to the lively wharf area. Everything else is on the lower side. No pool, no sauna, a tiny gym and super small rooms. So unless you want to live the 'cell-type'experience then make sure that you have minimun luggage or ask for a bigger room. The ones booked through Booking.com for instance are very small

Wonderful location on the V&A Waterfront

This hotel gives easy access to all the fun at the waterfront, which is where you want to be. We got an upgraded room, which we loved because it was much, much bigger than the normal rooms and even had a sofa (but be advised that the normal rooms and bathrooms are quite small). We weren't impressed with the breakfast as the place was crowded, the buffet mediocre, and the chef was so busy that the hot food took a long time. Since our room didn't come with breakfast included, we opted to go elsewhere for the remaining mornings. But the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and I was glad to see that the hotel takes up collections for new shoes to be given to local needy school children.
