I had not been to Chatanooga in 40 years. The area in which the Read House is located has all been gentrified and is nice. But the Read House to me is the icing on the cake. We arrived and the bellman, Hunter, helped us with our bags and helped us to get situated. he could not have been anymore engaging and when we checked out, there he was again to make sure we were in his good hands . Patricia, at the front desk was extraordinarily professional and hospitable. She is the consumate hospitality pro. The hotel has undergone a beautiful renovation. The public spaces are elegant. Our suite was extremely nice . The bathroom was gorgeous. One issue we had was with our reservation at the restaurant. There was a mix up and we were not able to be seated. But, there was the personell from the fron desk to make sure that we were able to get into a good restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the gentleman who got the reservation for us, but both he and Patricia immediately got on the phone to make sure we were well taken care of. I really like my experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it if you need a good hotel in Chatanooga.

I stayed at The Read House for a week at the end of October. The room in the Manor Tower was Ok...no complaints...but the staff at The Read House was fabuloso! I own an award winning... #14 out of the top 25 BNBs in Mexico 2019 on TripAdvisor..if I could lure the staff to work for me I would! valets...Kevin Thomas, Brian, Tyler, and others. Front desk Justin, and all the others, Bar all of them. Maids...oh... my my my... such lovely ladies. They understood my limited Spanish and did what I asked...the managers on duty...always looking out for guests.. watch out Read House...one by one I will steal your staff! Not really.. I can’t pay what you can and the tips they get....the staff you have deserves all the thanks and accolades!
