Overview

Hike and bike the trails of the Finger Lakes and then return to the Renaissance Del Monte Lodge & Spa for some rest and relaxation. Stay in one of the 99 guestrooms, some with mini-fridges and microwaves, and enjoy the views of the foliage outside your window. Rooms come with high-def TV’s, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee makers and bottled water. Cribs and rollaways are available if the one king or two double beds are not enough. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center and a spa. The spa offers families treatments for both adults and teens and tweens, such as body scrubs, body wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures and massages. There is one onsite restaurant, the Erie Grille, that offers American cuisine. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hiking, biking and kayaking are a few of the outdoor activities in the area. For those looking to stay indoors, check out the Rochester Museum & Science Center or the George Eastman House.

Reviews

Great for weekend stay

by MTravels

Having never been to Rochester and wanting to check out the lilac festival and Eastman museum, I was discouraged by hotels within Rochester for both high prices and bad reviews. Then I stumbled upon this hotel in Pittsford and was quite delighted! Pittsford is quaint and the location of the hotel on the walking path of the erie canal was perfect and it is just a short 15 minute drive to the heart of Rochester.
Hotel positives:
Location, ease of parking, beautiful updated rooms, great room lighting, comfy bed, best hotel shower ever!
Negatives:
Noisy train tracks very close by, housekeeping left our room without towels.
Still rating the place 5 stars.
Make sure you walk over to the Village Bakery and cafe for breakfast or lunch. Skip Jojos or at least don’t order pizza there. It was awful.

Love this place!

It's been a while since we stayed here. All the rooms have been updated. Hardwood flooring made us a bit nervous, since it can add echoing and increased noise levels from adjoining rooms. NOT the case here. Room was super quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Service was exceptional! Nicole made sure our coffee cups were filled with hot coffee during our meal. Looking forward to a future stay!
