Unclean and grim run down hotel

by Paul A

Stayed one night during Labor weekend. The room was disgustingly filthy and in need of repair. When tried to let them know the phone did not work and no one at reception with long lines. Used app and did not get a response. They just don’t care for customers. The filthy sofas, bath tub with hair in it and the toilet seat was unclean totally horrible. The blackout blinds were ripped, electric outlets didn’t work in parts of room and there was a level of grime throughout. I was charged a $50 cleaning fee because we had our dog with us. Wouldn’t mind but they should at least use it to clean the rooms. Such a poor hotel. Stay anywhere, motel 8 would be better.

Dog friendly Marriott hotel. Signs of deferred maintenance. The bed and pillows are older. When I turned down the covers there were little hairs on the bed by the pillows which is a sign that maybe the sheets were not changed. Feet/ socks black from the carpet. The toilet flushed itself a few times during night. Can hear other guests from your room.

There is no covered entrance to pull up to for unloading. Do not plan on having a luggage cart available when you arrive.
