Checked in about 12am for a 10 day stay.Hotel was easy to find. Very convenient to shopping and some good eateries.
The rooms may not be the newest however they are clean and pest free, which is more important to me.
They allow pets, however I cannot tell again because I do not see any pest. The climate is comfortable and no funky smells!!!
Yes they have breakfast, whirlpool, on site laundry...yadda yadda yadda.
The staff is EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and accommodating, which again is important to me. You can have the nicest rooms with all the amenities but if your staff is trash (as I've experienced) so is your establishment.
I plan to revisit on my trip next year instead of the other hotel I tried out.

Mixed Bag Experience

Reserved a two bedroom suite. Upon check-in I was informed the room I booked was no longer available. To compensate, I was offered two rooms, side-by-side, but not adjoining. One of the rooms was fine, the other smelled heavily like cigarette smoke! Another trip to the front desk, and I was given another room. I was also given a very reasonable rate to compensate for the inconvenience of not receiving the room I booked.

Shout out Marcus, the night shift supervisor, who helped me with the issues mentioned above. He went above and beyond to make the situation right and he apologized profusely even though the problems with my reservation were not his fault. Great customer service!

As for the facilities themselves, they were a bit tired. The public areas and the rooms themselves all show some pretty heavy wear-and-tear. In a typical year we stay at 10-15 different Residence Inn's and this one was average at best. Heavy scuff marks, stained carpets, and black stuff (mold?) in the bathroom. Not the worst I've stayed at...but far from the best.

Overall the hotel worked for our needs, the staff was great, but it's time to put some investment back into the facilities and bring them up to the (usually) high Marriott standard. If I were to go back to the area, I would seek out a different location...at least until this one has been renovated and brought up to snuff.
