I hosted a corporate training event and it went fantastic! I had someone join with last minute dietary restrictions and the staff was able to make every request happen! Tami with sales was my lifesaver and I was able to send her a text as we needed things.
Tonya Buie went above and beyond with making myself and my teammate feel like VIP guests!
I travel a lot for business and was passing through Indianapolis. I like Marriott properties and stay in one whenever I can. I read reviews online about the hotel rooms not being updated but for the rate I decided to give it a go anyways.
Updated vs worn out are two different things. I had a huge king room with a great layout, couch and view. The appointments throughput are the old school dark wood, which in my opinion is nicer than this cheap contemporary crap so many hotels put in. The room was immaculate in cleanliness and nothing was worn. The carpet felt great and was high end, not worn at all. Bed was great. Pillows could have had a little meat to them but that is a personal thing.
The club lounge for elite members was very nice. I was able to enjoy a couple of adult beverages, excellent appetizers, watch the news and unwind from a long day driving. In the morning I had eggs, nice thick country bacon perfectly cooked and two cappuccinos.
The lobby lounge was good. A little crowded but Monday night football was on. Food was good and prices very reasonable. $6 for a craft beer is less then many restaurants.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again. This is my new pass through destination. Great value for the price.
