Nice staff but dirty and soulless location in a truckers park

by David S

Had to stay here for a family visit recently. The location itself is really not great and appears to cater to truckers. Room was large and well equipped but very dirty. Gym was also very small and the breakfast was not hot, lots of items missing, etc. Would not return.

Lovely room, great location

The hotel is easy to find, and is conveniently located. Check-in was smooth, desk clerk helpful, and I was given a choice of floors for my room which was appreciated. There are many restaurants nearby, and the hotel can provide a listing of them if you ask. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was tasty (cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels and other breads, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, make-your-own waffles). My only complaint is the inability one early morning to get the attention of the desk staff--they continued to count the money in the til, didn't respond to my question, and avoided eye contact (a simple, "I'll be with you in a moment" would have gone a long way).
