Del-Bar

800 Wisconsin Dells Pwky, Wisconsin Dells, 53965, WI

Because the Dells is first and foremost a family destination, nearly every dining establishment welcomes and accommodates all ages. Don’t leave the area without having at least one meal at an authentic supper club, a throwback to classic Midwest dining where steak dinners and fish frys are always available and cocktail culture is an important part of the ambience.

Del-Bar is one of the best-known supper clubs in the Dells. Originally built as a roadside steakhouse in 1943, the restaurant still maintains a causal, friendly feel and was designed in the Prairie style by a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright, who had a summer home nearby. Classic dishes like pan-fried wall-eye and New York strip steaks make up the majority of the menu, but newer favorites like sashimi and pot stickers also make an appearance. There’s a menu of kids’ standards like spaghetti and chicken tenders; but little ones can get more adventurous ordering from the appetizer menu.
