Overview

Formerly The Capella Hotel, Rosewood is a 49-room boutique hotel property located on the C&O Canal. Twelve suites provide large living areas paired with king beds, and all rooms feature LCD televisions, Illy espresso machines, free Wi-Fi access and touch-panel in-room technology. The hotel features an indoor-outdoor rooftop pool with fireplace, open 24 hours a day with views of the city. A spa and fitness center are located on property, as well as a rooftop bar and lounge and onsite dining at the Grill Room. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Childcare services are available, as is transportation to and from the airport.

The rooms are beautiful. They were luxurious and spacious. The bathroom gorgeous (never thought I'd care about a hotel bathroom!). The bathtub was so nice to soak in!
The staff goes above and beyond. I felt so spoiled the entire time I was there.

Love the rooftop bar. It was a great place to stay for our staycation.

Service with a Smile

My husband and I, along with 2 other couples spent 5 nights at the Rosewood. It's a very lovely hotel right in the middle of Georgetown. The rooms were beautiful... there's a rooftop bar with a great view. It was unfortunate that a big re-build/repair project is underway with the canal system through the area and the bridge adjacent to the hotel is blocked off for vehicle traffic. This caused problems for the Uber drivers we were dependent on. I don't know if the doormen are always so accomodating at the Rosewood, but during our visit they did an outstanding job! The whole staff at the Rosewood was so professional and courteous. One of the doormen, in a effort to help us flag our Uber driver, ran down the block to direct him to the lobby. Thanks for a great stay in a great city!
