Owned by Cape Resorts, which also operates The Star and Congress Hall, Sandpiper Beach Club caters to families with 51 spacious suites, offered in two variations: One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom. One-Bedroom Suites sleep up to four guests in a king bed and pullout sofa, while Two-Bedroom Suites sleep up to six, with two beds and a pullout sofa. All units feature modern beach-inspired decor, such as hardwood floors and rattan accents, and offer deluxe Serta mattresses, fully equipped kitchens, private balconies, flat-screen TV’s, DVD players and Wi-Fi access.

The hotel is just across the street from the beach, and offers changing rooms and showers for that reason. It also has an outdoor swimming pool, which faces the ocean. Other family-friendly amenities include an arcade, laundry facility, fitness room and sauna, along with free parking.

Great stay at the Sandpiper

We visit Cape May every Memorial wknd for the past 25 yrs. The past two years we have needed 2 bedroom for our in-laws and baby. The Sandpiper is one of the few places with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location is great. Oceanfront with a balcony and a warm pool. The rooms are small but it's for a weekend and doable. The front desk was friendly and welcoming. The stay includes beach tags and service in front of Congress Hall. It was nice not having to take our chairs but as far as the food service that needs improvement. We order the first day and the food was never delivered. My husband decided to go and buy something at one of the restaurants. We figured we give it one more try, the following day it took almost 2hours. We decided to not bother again. Maybe it was that they needed training being that it was the beginning of the season. But I would expect better service from Congress Hall. Other than the beach service everything else was great.

No Appreciation for a returning guests

My family came at 9am for the hopes of checking in early. Guests before us were out by ten, and the room was cleaned by 12. Although we were the first to tell them we were here at the hotel, they made NO effort to have the room inspected for us to check in early. We have three rooms for a week, and this is our third year.

Great hotel but they make no effort to make your stay special.
