Nice price, bad beach

by catalina_chep

The hotel had a good price for Maldives, the rooms are clean. If you’re booking an ocean view room, please be specific and mention that you want the room on the higher floor, otherwise you risk to see just the palm trees, as we did. First day we were very disappointed, as we specifically came for the view from the room. On our request to change the room, they said they don’t have available rooms, when we insisted, because that view was a total disappointment, on the second day they finally changed the room, on the upper floor, and view from the room was amazing. Since it’s a muslim island, there’s no alcohol on the island. You can have a cocktail just on resorts, or water bar.

The beach is very bad. If you want to swim you have to look for the clean sand spots, otherwise you cut yourself because of the stones. The water is crystal clear, but not a good place to swim.

The guys who organize the boat trips and the excursions are amazing. Thank you for your help.

From the hotel you can go to snorkel to a sandbank, or to organize a trip with a day pass to a luxurious resort.

So, if you wanna enjoy the Maldives on the budget, this hotel is ok, but my recommendation is save more money and go to a resort where you can truly feel the Maldivian vibes.
