Overview

“Relaxing” is the perfect word to describe a stay at Serenity Cottages. Spacious rooms, helpful staff, and an onsite restaurant and beach bar give you plenty of reasons to spend time on the resort itself, and the proximity to amazing beaches and area attractions makes it easy to keep busy elsewhere as well. The one- and two-bedroom cottages are located on Shoal Bay East, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (and some might say in the world). Cribs are available for an additional cost, and the staff can help arrange babysitting services on date night.

Very Quiet Well Built and Attractive Secluded Resort

by stephen f

The architectural design of the cottages, restaurant and bar are very nice. If you are looking for a private and quiet vacation in a small resort with a beautiful secluded beach and nice restaurant and bar within budget this may be the best place on the island. The furnishings in the room are a little old and there are very few TV channels but the room layout is very attractive. The bed was comfortable and AC, hot water and WiFi worked well. Small frig and safe. Small beach with nice cots and umbrellas but we preferred to walk down the stunning secluded Shoal Bay East beach that connects to the resort beach. There are many good snorkeling areas with beach access. You could walk in ankle deep water around the point to the crowded beach restaurants if you like. The resort provided a car at a reasonable price and we found the roads easy to navigate although on the other side. Grocery store was nearby. We enjoyed the privacy and snorkeling though the winds were high this time of year.

If my room had a view I would still stay Somewhere Else

No view. Old room. No kitchen- small old fridge, old coffee pot with no coffee, ice only available at the restaurant. Tiny old TV with 5 channels. Restaurant/ bar very windy - one small area has a plastic Screen otherwise your food and drinks are blown away. Food was good, slow service and very overpriced (a very small plastic bottle of water was $4.50.) Of course everything on Anguilla is overpriced. To and from the airport countless uninhabited, unfinished or damaged small properties. The narrow and damaged two lane road is appropriate for the interior of a third world country. One tiny grocery store, no other food available between hotel and airport. No lobby for check in or out.
