Restaurant - Nice Breakfast

by Zuzka E

When our GPS guided us to a "coffee shop" for breakfast we did not expect it to be the Sheraton but were hungry, so we stayed. Parking free and plentiful.

Yes, it does overlook the marina, but also the I-101 freeway, the menu is nice and service very good. Both had eggs Benedict ($14.00) which were good. The server insisted on giving us a full cup of coffee-to-go with no additional charge.

Conveniet to Napa, Sonoma, Redwoods and Petrified Redwoods

by Peggy W

Over all we thought the hotel was nice. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. The dinner menu looked good but we ate at a recommended restaurant in town that had great steaks. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the center of a cute little town, with restaurants, little shops and the train station.

Our room was clean and overlooked the parking lot. I thought that was a bummer instead of the water until I realized how close we were to the interstate. I thought the noise from the highway would be bothersome but we never heard it. What we did hear was a very active train on schedule that blasted its air horn 3 times every time it came through town which seemed to be all hours of the night. My husband never heard it and swears I am making that up. I am not.

Our bathroom was clean and had all the amenities one needs. The towels smelled like ajax but were clean. The bed was comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. We had an upgraded corner room with a terrace. It was a nice little space to star gaze and drink wine.

The location is pretty central. Everything is about 30 - 40 minutes away. Wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve and the Petrified Forest and wineries in St. Helena. All worthy trips.
