We were served cold food at the restaurant-not even room temp-for me and my guests. We couldn’t believe it! The server offered to warm up our meals and one guest of the 7 let her take her plate to warm it up. The other guests had a boat to meet and didn’t have time. I asked to have 4 of the cold meals removed from my bill and she refused because she said we were offered replacements.
There was only one roll of toilet paper in our room and when it ran out we used tissue.
Also, we travel a lot with our dog and we’ve never stayed in a pet friendly room that didn’t have some treat or welcome mat or something for our pet. There are usually pet rules too. The fridge didn’t keep our drinks or cheese cold-not even cool. We had to go and buy ice and a cooler to keep our drinks and food at a safe temperature.
When we arrived there were clothes tags and garbage which we assumed were from the previous desk.
The room smelled and we had to sleep with all of the windows open because of the stench.
We couldn’t connect to the internet on our phones or laptops. We had to go across the street to a restaurant to connect so we could work. Their internet worked great.
Sadly, it was an expensive vaca that we didn’t enjoy because of the poor quality of food, service, and lodging.
The view and lake were beautiful-so a shout out to Mother Nature and Idaho. Shore Lodge on the other hand gets a thumbs down.
We were there for a wedding and numerous guests said they were having a bad experience with their Shore Lodge stay and that the bride and groom were pretty devastated about it. What a bummer!
The wedding was beautiful but rumor has it that the groom’s parents did all of the work and that you just had to set up and serve.
The wedding dinner was good.
We’ve had better service and quality at cheap hotels. Your room rates do not reflect what you’ll get for the price tag.
The surroundings were beautiful, everywhere you looked you were able to see the lake or the rustic decor of the lodge. The feel of the lodge was a top notch take away to a beautiful place with serenity and peace.
