Large room, free parking, free breakfast, walking to 23rd...did I mention free parking?

Stayed 1 night with a friend in town. It is really hard to find a hotel that doesn’t add $40-$50 for parking. But this hotel offers free covered parking. Room with 2 queen beds was valued priced during our stay.

After getting settled, we set out on foot to walk up 23rd street and have dinner. If I had been alone, I would have called an Lyft to return in the dark. But nothing too troublesome in the area (not like some parts of Portland).

We really enjoyed the quiet room and it was super large with 2 beds and a couch. We had some difficulties keeping the temperature regulated, but we think the window next to the AC made it challenging for the thermostat.

Quiet hotel despite being down the road from an emergency room. TV was Huge!

The breakfast pastries were the star of the breakfast! These were not your plastic wrapped croissants! Had one that you could probably pay $6 (guess?) for at St.. Honore’ down the street and also indulged in a serving bacon that was crisp and such a treat. They had coffee and teas (and flavored water) in the lobby 24-hours. The I. room coffee was really good too!

Service was pleasant and I would recommend to any of my friends wanting to stay downtown. Clean parking garage and facilities. Hotel is being renovated, but we didn’t notice any interruptions.

Such a nice stay, I promised the front desk I would write a review. Now everyone is going to know about this place! Perfect for visiting rose garden, zoo, downtown, or Sauvie Island.

A great hotel in a cute neighborhood with lots of trees and bicycle paths and also within walking distance to many things one of which was a coffee shop named The Dragonfly that had fabulous scones and of course great coffee!
