Sky City Grand hotel is in a fantastic location. The rooms were clean and serviced and the people were friendly and welcoming.We even got an upgrade to our room which was lovely. The Gusto restaurant downstairs had lovely canapes and drinks and breakfast was well catered for. Excellent stay!

Arrived a few hours after a fire had started in the convention centre (largest fire in NZ), staff worked hard to find us equivalent room in another hotel for our two night stay.
It took a couple of hours but we were transported with our luggage to the new hotel and all expenses were covered. We have since received a refund of our monies paid.
Although not a great start to our New Zealand trip of a life time, staff did there best under difficult situation.
