Overview

The name can be a bit deceiving, as this hotel is 5 miles away from the University of Texas El Paso. However, it does offer a clean and comfortable stay at very reasonable prices. Their spacious suites feature two queen beds and a full sleeper sofa, a small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, and a free hot breakfast. Kids will love the heated indoor pool after a busy day of sightseeing.

The Sleep Inn is located 6 miles west of downtown El Paso. It sits right off the interstate and directly across from the huge Sunland Park Mall, a regional shopping center that is home to a large number of restaurants, theaters, and stores. Hop on the freeway and in ten minutes you’ll be exploring downtown El Paso, with its cool museums, galleries, and trendy eateries. Kids will have fun discovering exotic animals at the El Paso Zoo further down the freeway, but will want to save an afternoon for the old-fashioned thrill rides at Western Playland, a 30-acre amusement park a few miles from your hotel. The Sleep Inn, with its clean rooms and affordable rates, is a good choice for your El Paso vacation.

Reviews

Was an alright stay. Nice and clean.

We stayed here on business in August. Room was kind of small but clean and comfortable. They had 2 remotes for the TV and you had to follow specific instructions on how to get it on. This seemed kind of cumbersome. Also, there was no fridge/microwave. Went to use the computer in the business center and it needed a password. The desk staff said that only the manager could put in the password. We were here on BUSINESS. This was not convenient.

Quiet with a comfortable bed

My Wife and I stayed here just one night, I am not sure about the university in the name as it does not show on their signage, it was a bit awkward either getting in or out depending on which way you were travelling but no big deal. The room was large and quiet as well as clean although for some reason there was no shower curtain on the bath/shower. Also the wifi was very poor.
