Great Views Not So Great Service

by FrequentFlier562063

My wife and I came here for our 38th wedding anniversary. We stayed in room 2207. The property gave us a bouquet of roses for our anniversary. We were thrilled with that gesture and looked forward to a fantastic vacation. The view from our cabin of the Grand Tetons was amazing. We got to the room, and it was 12 degrees. We found out the heater in the bathroom did not work. We called and they sent someone over to look at it. He said it needed a new part. My wife asked , can you at least bring us a space heater. He did, but it was still freezing in the bathroom to take a shower or bath. The sad thing is nobody ever checked back with us to let us know what was going on. So the whole week we had to make do with a little space heater to try to help warm the bathroom. Also the last night of our stay, the smoke alarms kept going off when we had a fire in the fireplace. It could be soot has started to clog the chimney. Again phenomenal view, the attention to detail was lacking.

Great Place for a Trail Ride

Emily the Wrangler lead us on a wonderful trail ride, up to the crest of a sagebrush covered ridge. The view of the Tetons at the top was breathtaking. Emily pointed out a moose down below that I would have missed. Peak Experience that I will remember for a long time. Thank You.
