The Stanford Court Renaissance is a sophisticated, modern hotel in urban San Francisco located near many area tourist sites and activities such as San Francisco Cable Cars, Fisherman’s Wharf waterfront sites and of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. Ocean beach is a short drive away and a few golf courses are in the area. A Marriott establishment, Stanford lives up to the hotel chain’s high standards. Rooms are designed with a contemporary feel. They are equipped with high-speed Internet, and suites have additional living and dining areas. Depending on the room choice, guests can opt for complimentary hot breakfast. Aurea is an onsite restaurant that serves coffee during the day and wine and dinner in the evening. There are also many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

This is a great place to stay in the Nob Hill area. Modern, classy and rich in history. The bar and restaurant is a lively place for a beer or cocktail and great snacks. Ask for Jorge, he has been a fixture at the hotel since 1976! The warmth and friendliness of his hospitality is surely the reason why. We truly look forward to seeing him next year.
After a disastrous start to our SF vacation in which we booked an Airbnb, we found this great hotel down the street. Luckily for us, they were able to accommodate us on a holiday weekend with a convention in town. The front desk John G was amazing. Great attention throughout our stay from start to finish. Great Bay view from our hotel. Clean and comfortable. Great location.
