Great place to stay!

by 823laurieh

This was the first time we have stayed at a Staybridge but we will definitely look for them again. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet even though we were next to an exit door, which is sometimes a noisy experience. The suite was a nice extra over a standard hotel room. We travel with a dog and it is often hard to find a nice place to stay that accepts pets. There is no carpet in the room which is fine with us and the flooring was very nice, but a rug beside the bed would be nice. The breakfast was especially good.

It looks a great hotel, but it’s not so great

It’s located far from the city, but easy to locate. It has a small pool and a big lake where you can fish. Breakfast is ok. The rooms.... omg! Housekeeping is not doing a good job around here. I had to move the bed a few inches closer to the wall because of my son. It was sooooooooooo dirty. It seems like nobody has cleaned the floor under the bed (close to the edge of the beds at least) for one month or more. I’ve had bad experiences with mattresses in nice hotels, but this one is the worst by far! It’s so soft and seems so old. It’s a spring mattress but I sank! I could feel huge holes in it. I had to rotate it head to feet because I could feel my feet higher than my head (even with a pillows) because I sank a lot. My father is 125lbs and he also suffered a lot sinking on the mattress. Those were the worst nights in hotel rooms ever!
So if you want a good bed and a nice rest, don’t come here
