Overview

A replica of a 19th century plantation, the Stone Mountain Inn welcomes families to a quieter, more relaxed stay within Stone Mountain Park. This Marriott property offers families spacious, 580-square-foot king or two double bed guestrooms with connecting rooms available. In addition, these rooms feature sofa beds, and rollaway beds and cribs are permitted. Each room also comes equipped with a coffeemaker and mini-fridge.

The Stone Mountain Inn is within walking distance of several park attractions including the Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard, the Summit Skyride, Memorial Hall and the Crossroads section, where guests can find additional dining options. Plus, the hotel provides complimentary transportation within the park. When families are ready for a break, they can return to the hotel and enjoy a swim in the onsite pool.

Although parking at the hotel is free, guests will have to pay a one-time daily parking fee to enter Stone Mountain Park. At check-in, guests will receive a permit allowing them in/out privileges to the park for the duration of their stay.

Very Good

by Claude G

This is a very nice place to stay and is close to most o he things you would want to see-and the people who served at the check in were Fantastic! Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially to families who would like the convenience of being together in very nice surroundings.

Convenient But Overpriced!

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is directly across the street from the attractions and a short walk to the laser show. The room itself was large but dated. The front desk staff weren’t rude but certainly not welcoming. The hotel charges nearly $13 for wi-fi and nearly $15 for breakfast. The only other hotel option in the park is the Conference Center which is nicer but more expensive. If convenience is your goal then this is the place. If getting your money’s worth is your goal, look elsewhere.
