Located in a desirable location of central London, the Strand Palace Hotel offers free stays to children under 12. Some rooms contain sofa beds that can sleep one child, and cots are available for babies at one per room. The hotel has the benefit of being in close distance to London’s West End, a well-known hub for shopping, theater, and restaurants. Travel throughout the city is easy for families because Strand is located near multiple London Underground and bus stops. Onsite dining includes the Carvery & Grill, an authentic British restaurant. Stop by the Sacred Café for sandwiches or the Lounge Bar for an authentic British afternoon tea.

50th Birthday Break

by AMH1969

Have stayed at Strand Palace Hotel a couple of times before so knew location was perfect. Stayed five nights this time and my wife had told them it was my big birthday as cards were being sent direct to hotel. They were so lovely, from bottle on ice in room, birthday cake, all the staff are very welcoming, Giovanni & Vivian in the bar were great (superb Black Russians), the lady restaurant manager so nice, Joseph in customer relations great, the lady night manager very friendly, everyone makes the effort to make your stay a very pleasant one. I have no reason to book any other hotel when staying in London, I strongly suggest you stay here too.

Good location but noisy

by Kdec_austin

The location was excellent and the room was comfortable, but ask in advance for a room on an upper floor. We were on the second floor, and the street noise made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Also, avoid the breakfast at the hotel. Food was awful and the service was worse.
