I’d avoid it at all costs

Suburban Extended Stay is awful! Terrible! Miserable! Do not stay here. If you do, you will have to fight off cockroaches and spiders. And you will need to hold your breath because of the musty smell. And you will need to wash all the “clean” dishes because they are just not clean at all. Blech!!!

You get what you pay for!

My son and I stayed here while in town for a baseball tournament. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I, also didn't want to drive back and forth to home for days, so I picked this place for our 2 night stay. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I booked a smoking room, however, that was my own fault. It was pointed out on check in, and was told that if it smelled too bad, to let them know and they would refund my money, as they had no more non-smoking rooms available. It wasn't top bad, so we stayed. However, the room was super dated and not the cleanest. We didn't really feel comfortable about walking barefoot on the floor. The AC unit was leaking outside, but, though it was VERY noisy, it cooled the room fine. The beds were ok, but the bedding was old, and my sons blanket had a big whole in it! We made due, and the price was reasonable for Wilmington on a weekend in the middle of summer, but wouldn't stay here again.
