Great place!

We stayed here from 4th to 5th of July. The rooms are outdated, but the location is awesome! Lovely staff. Loved the pool area, open 24hrs. We saw the fireworks from the pool that night. We deeply recommend staying here!

Glory is gone.

I wanted to like or love this hotel but I won’t be back. The description is very misleading. Retro means few to no updates including carpet, drapes, bedspreads. Retro could be fresh and hip but not here. The room was clean when we arrived although it was a full day event to get clean towels the next day. The housekeeping staff said they didn’t have enough and would wash/dry and bring ours back!?!? They never did clean the room while we were there two nights.

The pool is fine. Tennis courts decrepit. Never found the bat house or yoga place because it’s odd driving down a back road with a bunch of trailers and boats and you might be in someone’s yard.

But.... eat at South of Seven!!! A gem! New restaurant in the hotels former restaurant space. Completely rehabbed- fresh, welcoming, amazing food!! Will definitely come back to eat and enjoy the views.
