Overview

The Swaying Spruce is a cozy cluster of cabins on the hillside just outside of Skagway. The largest cabin, the Columbine, is perfect for your family’s Alaskan vacation, with a queen and two twin beds, a kitchenette, full bathroom and the most amazing forest views. There’s no TV or Wi-Fi, which adds to the overall feeling of peace and quiet. Your family will love sitting around the fire pit, or relaxing in a swinging hammock. There’s no other accommodation in town that offers the same kind of quiet seclusion.

Your cabin is a five-minute drive from downtown Skagway. Or, use the complimentary bicycles for a fun 10-minute ride into town. Skagway is a small, compact town, so it’s easy to access a wide variety of shops, restaurants and attractions. Your hosts are more than happy to point you toward fun things to do, including the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, a steam train that takes you on a round-trip journey into the mountains. The Swaying Spruce offers a unique family-friendly experience for your visit to Skagway.

Arctic Poppy

by BuckeyeTim55

Outstanding cabin and service from Jesse and Kendra. Picked me up from the airport and made sure I had everything I needed. While a small cabin, the Arctic Poppy can easily accommodate two people. The pull-out extra bed and collapsable table provide plenty of room. Great price for the area too. Exactly as advertised on the website, I'll be back again soon.

Charming cabin in the woods that had everything that you would need and yet made you feel like you could enjoy the peace and quiet of Alaska. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.
