Five minutes from the slopes of Okemo on Route 103 is the affordable Timber Inn, family owned since 1986. All rooms come with a small fridge and microwave. The hotel also offers a hot tub and sauna to rest those weary legs after a long day of skiing.

We have visited the Ludlow/Killington area for over 15 years and have stayed at many locations. The Timber Inn has earned our repeat business. The location is great, in Ludlow but away from the congestion. Our room was listed as mountain view and the view of Okemo was great. The room was great- wood ceilings and walls- a great country feel. As other reviewers have noted, the tv is small- not an issue. The owner is the operator and ensures everything is in order.
The manager is very friendly and helpful. The unit I was in was renovated, however, it needs more pictures and definitely a bigger TV. The room is fairly small so one must take a chair from the "desk" to watch TV. If you are sensitive to road noise, get a unit away from the main road.
The room was clean with a good amount of towels, etc. There is no clock/radio. The price is very reasonable.
