My wife and I stayed there one night last week on our way to Iowa.
The hotel seemed newer. It was clean. The room was pristine and was comfortable.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent.
The breakfast was good - there was some Canadian bacon and cheese, to make your own breakfast sandwich. They had fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, juice, bagels etc,
We had a nice relaxing stay. The new gentleman at the front desk was very helpful too.
I would stay here again next time I am in the area.
I wanted to drop a note to say how much I enjoyed staying at the Townplace Suites Joliet South last week. As a Platinum Elite, I stay at a number of Marriott properties over the course of the year and this location is one that I will be adding to my favorites. From the moment I checked in, this location was awesome. Autumn and Cherrell really went above and beyond. They gave me restaurant ideas, told me places I should check out if I had time and overall had a fantastic attitude, not usually the case at other Marriott locations. To top it all off, after dinner your location had cookies and milk and that is a game changer. I can’t tell you how many times on trips that my sweet tooth starts having a craving when I get back to my room and I have nothing to snack on. They also told me about the rubber duck thing and I brought the one from my room back to the office to share the story with my team, that by the way travels more than I do.
