Overview

A stay at Vi Vada will place you just a few blocks away from Munich’s action, and in walkable distance to the main train station–though if you’re renting a car instead of using public transit, note that parking can be difficult. The staff is helpful and rooms are clean, comfortable, and Wi-Fi equipped; book the “familienzimmer” (two connected bedrooms) so everyone has enough space and privacy. You’ll sleep well thanks to the soundproof windows and soft, down-filled pillows. If you’d like breakfast at the hotel, it comes at an extra charge; the restaurant also serves a business lunch.

Great staff

by wordtravelTN

Honestly, the room was just okay, but the amazing staff warrants a 5 star review for this hotel. We arrived very early, as many US flights do, and Marina was such a pleasure to deal with and let us know as soon as our room was ready. She was so sweet and helpful. Other staff was also great--always happy to give tips and recommendations. Breakfast was excellent and even offered champagne. There is also a nice lobby area if you need to wait around with your luggage until your next connection. The trams are right outside the hotel, which makes it so easy to get around, and you can walk to Oktoberfest.

Nice hotel but expensive during Oktoberfest

by Klaus S

Stayed with my son in two separate singles rooms. Rooms were comfortable and well cleaned. Due to flight timing we arrived several hours before the normal check in time but the receptionist went out his way to let us know as soon as the rooms were ready.

Attached restaurant ( Ottantanove ) served an excellent breakfast and we had a couple of meals there which were very good.

Room had a small safe which was adequate for valuables.

Room rate was 417 euro per night +14 euro for breakfast. Very expensive for a 3 star hotel but to be expected during a high demand period such as Oktoberfest.
