The best accommodation in Balian.

Balian does not have 5 star. But it does have this really lovely villa with clean rooms very friendly staff and a great location over looking the ocean.
I am writing this as I have read the few really bad reviews and thought people needed some balance.
Villa Helen is the best place to stay in Balian.
You can look at the surf break from the pool which is cool.

Terrible Hotel-Pictures Do Not Represent Reality

The best thing about this hotel was its wi-fi. Everything else was way less than expected. We took 2 rooms and neither room had doors that worked. They were unhinged at the bottom and left wide gaps in the side. Additionally, the safe in one room didn’t function at all. There is no food or snacks or even the basis stock like shampoo. Towels were old and stained. They explain the doors not shutting as a result of being close to the ocean and not fixable. We left early and will try and resolve this with booking.com.
