For accommodations right at the base of Breckenridge Mountain, the Village in Breckenridge is just minutes from the slopes, 30 lifts and 150 trails, as well as historic Main Street. Three different room types are available from Classic rooms with two double beds to sleep four, Deluxe King rooms with a king bed and sleeper sofa to sleep four, and Executive King with a separate living and sleeping space with sleeper sofa and king bed, also sleeping four. The hotel features indoor and outdoor swimming pools and is a stop along Breckenridge’s town shuttle. Guests can dine year-round in the Park Avenue Pub and in the winter months enjoy the food court-style Maggie, which serves lunch daily and is an après ski hangout. In winter months, free breakfast is offered for up to four guests, as well. Some rooms are dog-friendly.

Pros: convenient location for skiing and restaurants, included valet service for car (off-site so take all your stuff with you!), refrigerator in room, decent continental breakfast (lots of protein available), very friendly front desk agent (Mallory was wonderful and helpful!), large bright light in shower room, large pump-style body wash/shampoo/creme rinse in shower (instead of those tiny throwaway bottles that are impossible to open and squeeze conditioner out of!), nice glass water bottles with filtered water for drinking instead of plastic throwaway water bottles, clean room
Cons: electrical outlets (two on one side of bed, none on other/my(!) side of bed, plus clock on same side of bed with lightning and micro usb connectors (so 4 potential phone plugins on one side of bed...zero on other side and my cable doesn’t reach!), multi-outlet in middle of room where you can’t set your phone anywhere but on the floor, no outlets on large dresser), we were never informed about the included continental breakfast so we brought our own food, bed was comfortable but very jiggly (I could feel my husband’s movements all night long), no anti-slip mat for bathtub/shower floor, very small toilet room (we had to stand on far side of toilet to shut door)
The hotel is located just a short walk from the Quicksilver lift and the heart of Main Street offering lots of shopping and dining options. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the valet guys.
While it appeared that our $300/nt room with 1 King bed had recently been nicely renovated, it was just too small to be comfortable. I’m guessing the entire living area was about 200 square feet. Put a king bed, a sofa, a huge dresser, a coffee table and 2 nightstands in that space, and well, that doesn’t leave much living space. The toilet room is so tight that you literally have to straddle the toilet in order to close the door.
Other than our small room, we really enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel.
