Great Location and Service

by Dawn E

We stayed in this lodge during early October and booked through Expedia. We chose this hotel primarily for location and because it had a kitchen. We booked a one-bedroom king villa. The bedroom was separate from the living area, with 2 sleeper sofas, 2 full bathrooms, and a kitchen. The suite itself was wonderful! We were so pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, well-stocked with even daily coffee, dishwashing powder, and laundry detergent packets.
The lodge had daily breakfast opportunities for $3-5 - waffles, oatmeal, bar, etc. It included coffee and juice. What a great deal! There also were lots of entertainment opportunities in the lodge, including an exercise room, rec rooms, DVD library, a viewing room for movies, arts and crafts, and guided hikes.
The lodge is located near the slopes, and a quick walk to downtown. There are also a few hikes within walking distance from the hotel.
The service was great. The front desk staff were all helpful and friendly.
We did not have a view of the mountains, rather the side of the other building. The villa was so enjoyable, though, we did not mind. If you are booking through Expedia, and really want a view, be sure to choose that option. I understand that there are very few rooms actuall with a view.
