At W Chicago Lakeshore, families look out their window to the beautiful views of Lake Michigan, which make this one of the most beautiful areas of the city. The hotel is near the Navy Pier and the darling Ohio Street Beach is across the road. The Chicago Children’s Museum is another family hotspot within walking distance. Many green parks in the area prove to be great places for family picnics and playtimes. W Chicago features spacious rooms and suites with DVD players and a movie library, goose down pillows and terry bathrobes. Five different lay-outs are available at the hotel. Connecting rooms are available, and suites provide more space, pull-out sofas and parlors. Wave Restaurant offers Mediterranean culinary delights during the dinner hour. W Cafe serves java creations and light fare. The Living Room Bar is not your typically bar. It runs games and has Wi-Fi. At W Chicago, families will especially be drawn to the heated indoor pool. Pets are also welcome at the hotel, and pet accessories are provided.

The W was such a beautiful, luxurious, hotel. The rooms were very nice and the location was the best, right in the middle of al the happening spots. Everyone was really nice but the lady at the front desk by the name of Diamond out did herself ! She made our stay worthwhile, I would recommend for everyone who comes to Chicago to stay at the W and ask for Diamond !
The hotel itself is average, so if the cost was half would be ok. But since it cost over $250 a day is totally not worth it! Decoration in the rooms/halls is rather tacky, the bathrooms have cheap finishing, the staff has no empathy whatsoever. You have to ask for a mini fridge if you want one. Only good thing about the hotel is the location.
