One of the 5 jewels along the Wailea coastline

by susanaC1795AG

There are 5 hotels along the Wailea Coastal Trail. This property is right in the middle. It has a spectacular view of the ocean from the poolside. We spent one of our days at the pool in a cabana which was a delightful treat. We also attended the hotels Luau. All I can say is wow! The food is served buffet style and the show is provided by Tu Au Moana. It is set up on a grassy area with the Pacific Ocean and sunset in the background. If you are looking for a luau to go to - pick this one! Totally worth it

Its a good Hoteland Location But very Crowded. Cant Image High Season Here

We visited during September and becuase of the location next to the Wailea Shops Marriot Wailea was the best choice for Us. The lobby area I would say is the best part of the hotel , Next to the Adult Pool and Water Park. Beautiful Open Space , with a small pond and waterfool and Aloha Letters to get a nice photo on. The valet parking guys and super efficient and welcoming, they are in charge of the shuttle service wich is very convenient, use it multiple times. The check in process is stand up , make a line and recive an awesome Guava Juice, But after a long flight these process should be more confortable for the guest. The room is good size, have a balcony and good amenities, mini fridge and 2 water bottles daily. You can go to ABC Store and get some food and put it on the fridge. We use the hotel Gift Shop , very very good , and the Starbucks next to it in the morning. The hotel have kids and Teens Club with video games, have a good time there. Again is low season , during summer , those places must be crazy crowded. The water slides in the pool are Awesomee , good service, chairs and a very nice pool for the kids. The adult pool have the best view , but was very difficult to get a chair , even al fisrt time in the morning. Get our Free Mahi Tai at the pool restaurant and the waitress was super nice. And finally Humble Kitchen Restaurant, very busy, but the Food was really Excellent! Dont miss the pineapple cake , Best dessert in all the trip. I enjoy my stay at the Marriot Wailea , But I think 650 dollars a night ´plus tax is not proportional for what you could get somewhere else.
