Do not stay in room 1512

by galateya

I would agree with all other reviews about good location and the hotel needing extensive renovation. Everything is chipped and dated.
However, our main source of major discomfort was the elevator shaft located next to our room. I don’t know if each floor’s room number twelve is this noisy, or it’s only number 1512, but it felt like some huge machinery is operating in our room non-stop. I kept waking up all night. I must mention that I am a sound sleeper, nothing ever bothers me... not in this case. So, if you are given the key to room #1512 at your check in, run! Or ask to change the room right away.

Don't leave food in your room.

The room was nice enough, but mice came in under the door while we were trying to sleep and made lots of noise as they tried to get into our snacks. The next morning we found a hole chewed in our bag of trail mix. We hid the rest of our snacks in a drawer, but the mice were still able to get in, since the back of the drawer was not fully enclosed.
