Wingate by Wyndham Columbus / Fort Benning is 4.6-miles to Columbus State University, 15-miles to Fort Benning Army Base, 14-miles to the National Infantry Museum & Soldier Center, three-miles to the Chattahoochee Riverwalk, 8.5miles to the Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus, and 6.7-miles to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center. Done.

Great accommodations for a great price!

We booked this hotel on our way back to Florida after the Auburn/Ole Miss game. Since we were getting in so late and leaving early the next morning, I didn’t want to spend $200 for the night, but I also didn’t want to sleep in a complete dump. THIS WAS NO DUMP! This hotel has been newly renovated and the accommodations are very nice. When I stay somewhere, I want clean, comfortable, and spacious. This hotel ticked off all the boxes and at $89 for the night, you can’t beat it. Check-in was easy, the room looked brand new, and the towels were much larger and thicker than your average hotel. We didn’t stay for breakfast, but I appreciated having it as an option included in the price. Would definitely stay here again and for longer! Two thumbs up!

Reasonable rates and pet friendly

We always state at La Quinta North when visiting Columbus. The rooms are spotless, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good with many choices. Since we most always travel with our two small dogs, the availability of pet friendly rooms is very helpful and saves a lot of money. This is a newer La Quinta and much nicer than the other two older La Quinta hotels in the Columbus area.
