Pretty miserable but not shocked

by JPFitz816

We stayed here as part of a wedding block and the staff was in way over their heads. They were very unfriendly when dozens of the folks tried to check in early so that they could make it to the wedding. After sleeping on the lobby couch and waiting for a few hours for a room to be ready, I went to the desk and they informed me that my room had been ready the entire time!

There definitely isn't an emphasis on customer satisfaction as the lobby was a complete circus with employees bantering. Complimentary breakfast was so mediocre that everybody from our party went next door to Dunkin.

The upside is that the room was clean and halfway decent. Although there were some things falling apart the bed was pretty comfortable and we got a good night sleep.

I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have to but if you have to then just don't get your hopes up.

Also, the hottub was pretty luke-warm and instantly foamed up to bubble-bath levels as soon as it was turned on.

Positives and negatives

GM is very service oriented, most of staff was pleasant. Breakfast was fair as a typical hot continental meal. Didn't have the connected room I was promised the 1st night, GM gave a a free night and moved us to the connected room the next night. First room, fridge didn't work, air conditioning didn't function properly, however, the GM resolved these issues. Did find trash under bed, right on the edge....housekeeping should have been able to easily spot the trash. Other than these issues, the hotel seemed fairly clean, would consider giving it another try. (Because of the GM, Eric C.)
