A wonderful spot

by jratrainer

The hotel was great! In a great location...great staff. Room was very clean and a good size! The bed was very comfortable and the pool area very clean! The only complaint I would have is the lack of decent parking, especially for handicapped vacationer, like myself. This was not worth taking to a four star rating! Thanks for a great holiday! Go Bills Go!

Nice Hotel, Avoid Restaurant

by Smokinboles

Stayed at the Wyndam Williamsville for two nights in October. Our reservation process and check in went very smoothly. We were greeted with friendly faces and really felt welcome.

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The heater/air worked great in tandem with the thermostat on the wall. Bathroom lighting, shower spray heads and all amenities were quite good.

The restaurant was considerably overblown. The menu was very limited, it had just changed and was inaccurate regarding what was on the plate (allergy issues) and was very overpriced. We ordered the shrimp scampi but got shrimp linguine, which my wife couldn’t eat. I got a grilled romaine salad and a side of Brussels sprouts (which came with a nasty dill ranch sauce not on the menu). We added a glass of wine and a domestic beer and it came to nearly $80.

The spa/pool area was very inviting but was very old. The spa control needed to be replaced.
