Akumal rooms are beachfront property, while Riviera rooms have a balcony or a patio. The resort's four restaurants will cover all your family's dining needs. Kids Club, on the resort, offers plenty of activities to keep the family occupied. Nearby are the Puerto Aveturas Golf Club and the Natural Aquarium of Xel-Ha. Kids can explore the natural cenotes (pure water caves) of the land. With the beach right on your doorstep, there's plenty for the family to do!

Akumal Beach Resort, located approximately 60 miles south of Cancun is one of the best kept secrets of the Mayan Riveria. We have gone several times and are heading back June 5th.
