Great location, but you end up paying for the free breakfast

Very central & stunning views. Rooms well fitted out, but a bit tired. Staff friendly although they missed cleaning our room one day. Free breakfast isn't free. It's at local cafes that charge for 'extras'. Today we had one bowl of muesli a grapefruit juice and two coffees between two of us and were still charged extra.

Convenient alternative with many opportunity areas.

The 21st Floor Hotel has built an interesting option for visiting the Jerusalem’s main cultural and religious places given its location and cost, considering that Israel is generally an expensive country and Jerusalem is surely not the exception. Also, the country´s facilities are not very friendly to foreign independent travelers because they will always visit the many unique areas and historical places that it offers. For example, our arrival was very affected by the Sabbath customs. We reach the address at around 5pm finding a building that looked abandoned, and after looking how to enter and with some difficulty, we were able to use the elevator to reach the 21st floor, where we arrived into a very dirty hallway. We called a person that received our luggage and storage it an office, informing us that the cleaning and administrative staff arrived later so we should come back at 9pm for checking-in. On the positive side, even though there are some opportunities for improving the maintenance of their furniture, each apartment’s layout covers two floors, offering plenty of space and amenities that may suffice for a long stay of a family of several members. Finally, the rate including the option of vouchers for breakfast at neighboring restaurants provides excellent value.
