This view alone is worth a trip to Middle Caicos

by REDUSA

Traveled by ferry to Middle Caicos for a day excursion from Provo. We rented a car, drove to the caves for a tour and then on to Dragon Cay for lunch. We were not sure what we would find upon arrival; we were completely wow'd by the view from the restaurant/bar. It is gorgeous with a beautiful uninhabited beach (lots of sea glass) and some walking trails. We all enjoyed our lunch (seating outside under umbrellas or inside). There is also a full bar for drinks. A few of our group of 7 said that they had no interest in going anywhere else and would spend the day here alone. A few of us went down the road to another beach but made sure to come back before 3PM to have a cocktail before they closed. Amazing view, lovely staff. Didn't see the interior of the cabins but the view made the excursion memorable.

Now called Dragon Cay Resort

This is not a resort it’s a cabin on a bluff. Views are very special. People are nice but they have nothing I mean nothing.. I asked for Ice, a cup of coffee, bottle of water...Nothing... head to the store 10 miles away if you need anything.
We planed a day of fishing with the manager only to find he did not have his work permit and immigration forced us back to the cabin to check paperwork. Talk about stress the immigration office questioned me like I was a criminal just for being with the manager. So my day was shot. There is a restaurant on property only open when they feel like it. Mostly lunch only.
If you come you better bring all you groceries etc. I think you would be better off renting a house. That’s what I did as of this morning. Oh there is no pool and you better be able to climb to get to the beaches.
