Overview

The sister property to Old Town Inn, the River House Inn is located right on the Siuslaw River in Florence’s Old town, and like Old Town Inn, it’s known for its hospitality. The staff will help guests with coordinating activities, making reservations, printing maps and tide charts and more. Choose a Riverfront Room for river views or a less expensive Off River Room on the other side of the building. Rooms come with two queen beds or one king and include free Wi-Fi, coffee service, microwave and mini-fridge. The complimentary continental breakfast is more inclusive than the Old Town Inn’s, featuring cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, toast, pastries and more. Golfing families will find two golf packages.

From the hotel, head out to Oregon Dunes National Recreation area for dune buggy rides, romping in the sand dunes, fishing or crabbing on the river, and hiking along the sandy beach.

Best place to stay in Florence

River House Inn is our favorite place to stay in Florence. Beds are comfortable, sheets are amazing and if you're lucky enough to book a room with a riverfront balcony, you want to stay in your room the whole time you're there instead of doing whatever you came to the coast to do. Love this place!

Rivers Inn

Have stayed at Rivers Inn several times. It is very convenient and walking distance to old town and the Waterfront Depot restaurant, which is why we overnight in Florence, Or.
The reason for only three stars are the toilets and showers. They badly need updating. The toilets are very small and low low. 1980's models?
The shower head is fine if you're not 6' or taller. Shower heads are too low. Simple fix if owners care. Will call before our next visit to see if these two items have been changed out. Can't say enough positives about the Waterfront Depot restaurant if you love seafood or a good steak.
