Overview

If you were any closer to Loon Mountain ski area, you’d be on the slopes. The red-roofed South Mountain Resort is perched right at the edge of the town of Lincoln, just seconds from the base lodge. The villas inside this condo resort are an immaculate home-away-from home, with roomy living quarters elegantly decorated in a sleek style — with full-size kitchen and dining areas, soaker tubs, granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Some include fireplaces and balconies as well.

The property also includes a number of amenities to make your stay more pleasant, including BBQ grills and picnic table, an arcade game room, and plenty of ways to get wet: both an indoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Next door are the Village Shops, with independent boutiques, a BBQ restaurant, and a farmers’ market on weekends.

Family trip

by Ryan A

Four adults and four children stayed in a two bedroom with a pullout. The Rooms are big. The bathrooms are big. The kitchen is fantastic. The decor is modern and the whole apartment felt new. The proximity to the White Mountain National Forest is ideal. This is a great place to stay!

Timeshare Tour

by Golfgirl3

My husband and I drove over 2 hours for a 9am tour that we had scheduled to check out the resort to potentially purchase a timeshare for our winter ski trips. We arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic, and called to let them know we were running a few minutes behind as soon as we had service. They said we would not be able to attend the tour and there was nothing they could do to help us besides transfer us to a different company to reschedule our tour because we were outside of the “10 minute window.” The customer service the staff displayed when speaking to my husband on the phone was extremely disappointing and really laid the foundation of how things could be handled if we moved forward with this resort. Hopefully South Mountain Resort implements proper staff training in phone etiquette and customer service as a place that can’t accommodate a 15 minute late arrival after driving for 2+ hours could never be a purchase option for our family.
