Family in nearby hospital

Nice hotel with nice rooms hotel is adjacent to the Coosa river and nice restaurant close by. Longhorn steakhouse across the street is where we ate with great food and service. We were visiting family at Hospital that was close by.

Never again

I was ignored at the counter and when I did get checked in, the guy barely spoke to me and I even had to ask how to get to the elevator. I’m a Diamond Member and not even water was offered to me. When I got to my room, I realized it didn’t have a fridge or microwave. I called down and asked if any rooms had at least fridges (as I had just purchased items at the grocery) and was told the hotel was booked. I asked if the next night was booked because I would gladly move rooms and suddenly, there was a room available the same night. He said he’d run a key up to me. After standing in the hallway for 12 mins, I went down to the desk and the guy said he had gotten busy and forgot which room I was in so he just didn’t do anything. Seriously? When I got checked into the new room, I found it was the room DIRECTLY NEXT to the room I was just in. Inside the room, I found someone had left their dried out BK chicken nuggets on top of the mini fridge so obviously the room hadn’t been cleaned well. There was dried liquid dripped down the headboard and the phone and the curtains were busted at the top so they couldn’t be closed all the way. I didn’t even feel safe here. The elevator kept moving after the door opened for god sake. On the 2nd night, my keys wouldn’t open my door. Big surprise.
